Why the same model behaves like six different machines, and how the maintenance record saves you.
The same inverter model, deployed across a fleet, runs six different firmware versions — and each behaves just differently enough to break your assumptions.
The only defence is a maintenance record that captures what was actually on the box at the time of the fault. Otherwise you are debugging a machine that no longer exists.
Write down the firmware. Future you, at 03:14, will be grateful.
